About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for execution of Core Verification and IVVI using the Overwatch tool.
Subject matter expert focused on tooling fabrication, procurement, procedure management, and outage execution at both boiling water reactors and pressurized water reactors.
Provide successful execution of complex projects involving BWR 2-6 In Service Inspection (ISI), including in-vessel visual technology tooling and services along with core verification and reactor service maintenance activities.
Provide direct oversight to Overwatch Tooling Refurbishments.
Seek new technologies to upgrade or replace the aging fleet of tools.
Support Capital Investment strategy for fleet expansion in both BWR and PWR markets.
Continue to own Continuous Improvement of Overwatch processes.
Support the process of tooling conceptual design, field delivery and beyond.
Provide technical direction and guidance to craft labor in support of a power equipment outage.
Work with field services training and staffing team to build out field execution teams, the SME will be the lead instructor for training courses.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
Convey performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical discipline from an accredited college/university -OR- High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in BWR maintenance management or inspection services
Frequent travel (up to 75%)
Willingness to work in radiation-controlled areas and radioactively contaminated areas
Knowledge of GEH Nuclear Energy products, processes, customers, markets, and competition.
Ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Strong strategic development and execution skills.
Strong technical knowledge and experience in working with in the Inspection Services field.
Strong customer focus mind-set and commercial knowledge.
Experience and knowledge around BWR reactor internals and GEH In Vessel Visual tooling.
Familiar with GEH B03, EC and Inventory processes
Proven record in driving process improvement
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
