Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for oversight of assigned projects and direct or indirect leadership of project resources for small to medium sized projects that may include equipment-only, product suite, or non-turnkey projects
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute work
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
  • Uses technical experience and analytical thinking
  • Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
  • Leads projects with low to moderate risks and resource requirements
  • Explains information; develops skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field
  • Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in the power industry or in project management
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% domestically to GE Vernova and customer locations
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information
  • Nuclear power industry experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Project management skills
  • PMP Certification a plus
