Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for oversight of assigned projects and direct or indirect leadership of project resources for small to medium sized projects that may include equipment-only, product suite, or non-turnkey projects
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute work
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
Uses technical experience and analytical thinking
Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
Leads projects with low to moderate risks and resource requirements
Explains information; develops skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum three (3) years of experience in the power industry or in project management
Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% domestically to GE Vernova and customer locations
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information
Nuclear power industry experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Project management skills
PMP Certification a plus
