About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- manage emergent customer needs to address technical challenges for operating nuclear power plants
- act as first line of contact for customers with emergent technical needs
- manage technical projects from customer inquiry to project closure
- provide leadership and project management for assigned projects
- ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and business policies
- monitor project performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report progress to stakeholders
- negotiate contract terms and manage change orders
- mentor junior project managers
- develop specialized knowledge in nuclear energy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management or as a Senior Reactor Operator
- minimum 5 years in nuclear power industry
- minimum 3 years managing complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams
- willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally
- willingness to respond to emergent customer requests during standard and non-standard working hours
- Senior Reactor Operator experience preferred
- knowledge of United States nuclear regulatory requirements
- PMP certification preferred
