About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the technical definition of projects by defining the technical requirements and architecture for DCS/SCADA and automation schemes.
- Serve as the technical lead throughout the tender lifecycle.
- Define the technical requirements for substation communication protocols, including DNP3 and IEC61850.
- Manage the technical Risk & Opportunity (R&O) register.
- Act as the internal authority on system design, providing guidance to cross-functional teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in the design and architecture of protection & control schemes, SCADA systems, and substation automation.
- Understanding of substation communication protocols (e.g. DNP3/IEC61850) and IED/relay application principles.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Visio to produce conceptual engineering drawings, network architecture diagrams, and system layouts.
- Capability to analyze technical specifications and translate them into actionable, efficient project execution strategies for the tender phase.
