About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and operate integrated HPC and AI platforms on AWS, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance for engineering design workload
Design and implement cybersecurity controls in partnership with Compliance teams to meet U.S. Department of Commerce (DoC) Export Control requirements
Lead platform reliability by troubleshooting systemic issues and driving scalable, long-term solutions that improve cost efficiency and operational performance
Apply AI/ML techniques to optimize infrastructure utilization, workload performance, and day-to-day operations
Deliver architecture roadmaps aligned to product rollout needs and business outcomes
Mentor and develop team members, leading blended teams that include third-party partners and cross-functional collaborators.

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years in cloud infrastructure or systems architecture
Hands-on experience designing and operating AWS Cloud environments
Strong background in Linux administration, automation, and software deployment
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management tools
Knowledge of HPC schedulers, storage systems, and networking
Demonstrated ability to identify root causes and resolve systemic technical issues
Experience applying AI/ML techniques for infrastructure optimization or operational improvement.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent quality or process improvement credential.
Demonstrated change management capabilities in complex, matrixed organizations
Experience working within U.S. Export Control regulated platforms and implementing associated cybersecurity controls.
