About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships that enable continued market success and further market penetration in your assigned region
  • leading customer relationships for the Steam Power Industrial Services portfolio in the assigned region
  • responsible for orders, commitments and customer strategy for a defined region
  • manage the customer relationship for their accounts in their respective region
  • develop long term strategic plans by customer to drive market / customer penetration in support of Orders, Sales, Cash and Contribution Margin growth
  • maintain on-going customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
  • drive a sales pipeline on complex, multi-offering transactions that may include Parts, Repairs, Outage Services, Performance Upgrades, Digital Solutions and Long Term Service / Parts Agreements
  • continuously monitor and drive the development of the opportunity pipeline for regional opportunities
  • provide leadership through the formulation and execution of proposal strategies that capitalize on GE's competitive strengths to serve the customer's needs while meeting GE’s business goals
  • support the maintenance of accurate and current project and opportunity information in NEX

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical Discipline from an accredited college or university OR (High School Diploma/GED and 10 years of experience in the Power Generation Industry)
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in the Power Generation Industry
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working with, and knowledge of, Steam Turbine / Generator technology products and services
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Marketing, Sales, Project Management or Customer Service in the Power Generation industry
