About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with the Global Process Engineering Leader (GPEL) and cross-functional stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade RPA software solutions across GE Gas Power's Global Supply Chain
- Architect, build, and implement automation workflows and software bots using enterprise RPA platforms (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere)
- Analyze complex, cross-functional business processes within Supply Chain and Manufacturing to identify, evaluate, and prioritize automation opportunities
- Lead end-to-end quality assurance, testing, debugging, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all automation solutions
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve existing RPA solutions across the global automation portfolio
- Ensure all RPA solutions adhere to enterprise cybersecurity policies, data privacy regulations, and IT architecture standards
- Produce comprehensive process documentation, technical specifications, solution design documents, and user guides
- Maintain and prioritize an automation opportunity pipeline aligned with business value, strategic objectives, and resource capacity
- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, IT architects, and operational teams across global manufacturing, supply chain, and finance functions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- 5–7+ years of hands-on RPA development, deployment, and leadership experience in an enterprise environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with one or more enterprise RPA tools - UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Pega
- Hands-on experience with UiPath Orchestrator or equivalent platform for bot scheduling, monitoring, and lifecycle management
- Proficiency in one or more languages including Python, Java, C#, or .NET; familiarity with scripting languages (VBScript, PowerShell)
- Strong understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP), relational databases (SQL), and enterprise system integration patterns
- Experience automating processes within Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, or Operations environments
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience delivering automation projects through a structured project lifecycle
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Willingness and ability to travel 25-30%, including potential international travel to GE Gas Power manufacturing sites
