About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with specific critical customers
  • Plan, coordinate and execute design, build and installation support activities across GE and subcontracted resources
  • Identify, manage and execute day-to-day operational aspects of project scope
  • Maintain accurate project milestone accuracy creating visible and predictable data for key business metrics and revenue forecasting
  • Accountable for the project revenue, contribution margin and cash collection targets
  • Support day to day operations including QMI reviews, project reviews, CMR reviews, one OTR process and regional reviews
  • Regular tracking and communication of project progress, open action items and all aspects of project status to key stakeholders
  • Identification, escalation and resolution of issue/risks which might affect customer satisfaction and GE operational targets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a project management, engineering or manufacturing role and/or working in a lead capacity implementing projects in a field environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance
  • Experience in SAP
  • PMP certification
  • Previous experience in the US Military Government or industry support of Government experience
  • Background in a customer facing Service Delivery or Project Management position, within a Service environment
  • Technical knowledge of power conversion products (controls/automation, variable frequency drives, power)
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to develop clear message using MS Office tools (powerpoint, word, excel, project)
