About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary point of contact with specific critical customers
Plan, coordinate and execute design, build and installation support activities across GE and subcontracted resources
Identify, manage and execute day-to-day operational aspects of project scope
Maintain accurate project milestone accuracy creating visible and predictable data for key business metrics and revenue forecasting
Accountable for the project revenue, contribution margin and cash collection targets
Support day to day operations including QMI reviews, project reviews, CMR reviews, one OTR process and regional reviews
Regular tracking and communication of project progress, open action items and all aspects of project status to key stakeholders
Identification, escalation and resolution of issue/risks which might affect customer satisfaction and GE operational targets

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field from an accredited university or college
Minimum 8 years of experience in a project management, engineering or manufacturing role and/or working in a lead capacity implementing projects in a field environment
Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time
Ability to obtain a secret clearance
Experience in SAP
PMP certification
Previous experience in the US Military Government or industry support of Government experience
Background in a customer facing Service Delivery or Project Management position, within a Service environment
Technical knowledge of power conversion products (controls/automation, variable frequency drives, power)
Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to develop clear message using MS Office tools (powerpoint, word, excel, project)
