About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers throughout project execution and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Lead nominated projects from transfer/kick-off through closure, managing technical and commercial follow-up
  • Report and deliver project KPIs, including sales, forecasts, margins, on-time delivery, invoicing, and cash collection
  • Coordinate project activities with engineering, FAT, Services, Finance, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders
  • Plan projects and ensure delivery according to contracted dates and terms
  • Lead project teams in defining project metrics and targets for product costs, project costs, manufacturing, and quality
  • Track and report progress against targets
  • Maintain data quality in project execution tools, smartER, and ERP systems
  • Prepare monthly project execution reports and participate in monthly contract reviews
  • Control EAS, P&L, and gross margin throughout contract execution
  • Fulfill contractual obligations and milestones to avoid or minimize liquidated damages
  • Manage commercial contract variations
  • Follow up on invoices and cash collection
  • Improve project management processes, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
  • Conduct Return of Experience reviews after contract completion and share findings
  • Manage customer complaints, satisfaction surveys, and post-delivery warranty claims
  • Comply with Quality, Health and Safety legislation, EHS policies, rules, and standards
  • Perform preventive and corrective actions with the EHS team
  • Perform periodic GENBA walks and conduct HSV as required
  • Meet customers, partners, and consultants and travel up to 25% of the time
  • Perform SAP functions including order booking, planned costs, invoicing, and cost analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Electrical or Communication Engineering
  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of Project Management experience in the grid solutions domain, specifically SCADA, RTU, or electrical control systems
  • Track record of independently managing approximately 15 projects averaging $1M and above
  • Advanced/master degree qualification may be accepted in lieu of less experience
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Fluent in English; an additional language such as French is a plus
  • Proficiency in Projects, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strategic awareness combined with tactical implementation capability
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and explain critical issues
  • Six Sigma/Lean knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple global projects simultaneously
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, stakeholders, and clients
  • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
