About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide leadership and oversight to business operations to assure adherence to all aspects of internal company and external regulatory compliance
Drives appropriate mechanisms in place to comply with relevant laws and regulations
Coordinate execution in close partnership with Commercial, Operations, and TPRM leadership under the GE Vernova Antibribery and Anticorruption program principles
Manage and enhance core compliance programs across Software including risk assessment; socializing policies and procedures; training; communication; monitoring and reporting
Provide legal and compliance oversight on third-party engagements
Support and coordinate compliance initiatives across all Software business units and functions

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years’ experience in Compliance, law, multinational and corporate legal experience preferably with a background in investigations, anti-corruption/ABAC, third-party risk management, channel partner compliance, cyber-security, regulatory, or international trade compliance
At least 3 years of experience advising software, technology, digital, or industrial businesses in the compliance or legal function, with demonstrated exposure to channel partner, distributor, or agent compliance programs
Working knowledge of anti-corruption laws and frameworks (FCPA, UK Bribery Act), third-party risk management principles, and channel partner compliance best practices in a multinational environment
JD is a plus; coupled with license to practice by the applicable state Bar Association
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and coordinate Commercial, Operations, Compliance, and Legal functions globally
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects across multiple business units and geographies
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Established project management skills
Deep understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, GE Vernova’s ABAC program, TPRM standards, Enterprise Compliance Standards, and channel partner compliance requirements
Experience working with or managing channel partner, distributor, or agent compliance programs in a multinational industrial or technology environment is strongly preferred
