About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and pursue 765kV business opportunities within the Power Transmission Portfolio of GE’s Electrification business
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, understanding client needs
- Drive cross-product offerings and revenue growth through strategic partnerships and sales initiatives
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients for 765kV portfolio
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at utilities, developers, and EPC’s
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and outreach
- Prepare and present business proposals, including pricing strategies, service offerings, and value propositions
- Support the sales pipeline, track progress, and forecast revenue
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the technology, data center, or colocation industry
- Proven track record of successfully closing deals and driving revenue growth
- Willingness to travel 30%-50% of the time based on the business need
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and trends
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Deep understanding of the utilities
