About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- designing and manufacturing of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) equipment that control safety critical functions for the BWRX-300 Small Module Reactor
- collaborating with vendors to meet production schedule for new product line of PCB hardware
- technical problem solving, requirements management, and effective communication/collaboration with internal and external teams
- demonstrating accountability for cost, schedule, quality, and technical accuracy of assigned tasks
- ensuring designs can be manufactured to required quality standards
- providing clear and complete analysis documentation in accordance with GE engineering procedures
- managing time effectively to provide quality deliverables within the expected project timeline
- communicating effectively to leadership the status of work activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, systems, computer or equivalent engineering degree from an accredited college of university
- 4 years PCB design in both analog and digital signals
- 2 years experience in PCB board production methods and best practices
- experience in nuclear analog and digital instrumentation, control, monitoring, and electric power system and field engineering
- competency in industry standards IEEE, IEC, IPC, and quality
- competency in modeling and test data collection tools
- knowledge and experience with PCB design, signal analysis and system verification tools (Altium, PSpice, SystemVerilog,UVM, etc.)
- knowledge and experience with common HDL languages (Verilog, SystemVerilog) and PLD/FPGA development tools (Quartus, Vivado, ModelSim,Questa, etc.)
