About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Leading extended scope controls engineering projects through kick-off, hardware design, software development, commissioning to commercial plant operation
Compiling the project level controls strategy and document requirements
Leading the design and implementation of controls system projects
Supporting ITO/Proposal efforts
Driving overall Architecture, top level design, verification, validation, and commissioning requirements
Collaborating with internal GE groups and external customers
Owning projects from ITO-COD for high risk complex projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering field from an accredited college or university
10+ years work experience in the combined cycle power plant industry
Experience in design & application of GE power generation controls, electrical, or accessory systems
Experience in power generation requisition, working with customers, project management or EPCs
System integration experience
Proven oral and written communication and presentation skills
Gas Turbine and/or Plant controls knowledge/experience
