About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Be responsible for on-time project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources
- Assist Project Director in organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP
- Participate in customer, internal, and/or supplier project kickoff meetings and support the Project Director with preparation & coordination of customer, internal, and/or supplier kickoff meetings
- Develop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring timely completion of project related training activities
- Support the development & issuance of the Project Management Plan & related project plans and project procedures
- Ensure compliance with U. S. government requirements as applicable
- Organize and archive project correspondence and records consistent with Project Configuration Management Plan
- Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and project progress reports
- Other relevant duties assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college OR a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience working on projects
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Demonstrated organizational skills, particularly when related to project execution
- Experience or familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Sodium Fast Reactor (SFR) designs
- Financial control knowledge and understanding
- Demonstrated professional interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to take initiative and to work independently
- Ability to influence others
- Extreme attention to detail, follow up, highly organized
