About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Test, inspect and validate high-voltage electrical equipment to ensure compliance with GE Vernova's quality and safety requirements
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical documentation and work instructions
- Prepare test equipment, simulators and measurement instruments
- Perform electrical tests, measurements and functional checks
- Identify, record and report defects or non-conformities
- Accurately complete production and quality documentation
- Adhere to all Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes
- Share knowledge and collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical training in Electricity, Electrotechnics or a related field (Vocational Baccalaureate - Bac Pro, BTS or equivalent)
- Some experience in an industrial or production environment (an asset but not required)
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Experience using electrical measurement and testing instruments
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with procedures
