About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Test, inspect and validate high-voltage electrical equipment to ensure compliance with GE Vernova's quality and safety requirements
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical documentation and work instructions
  • Prepare test equipment, simulators and measurement instruments
  • Perform electrical tests, measurements and functional checks
  • Identify, record and report defects or non-conformities
  • Accurately complete production and quality documentation
  • Adhere to all Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes
  • Share knowledge and collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical training in Electricity, Electrotechnics or a related field (Vocational Baccalaureate - Bac Pro, BTS or equivalent)
  • Some experience in an industrial or production environment (an asset but not required)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Experience using electrical measurement and testing instruments
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills and a strong team spirit
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance with procedures
