About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deploying enterprise software
  • Working within a highly skilled team to manage and execute software deployment, software configuration, and operational testing
  • Identifying and quickly resolving software and related IT issues within a deployment project
  • Optimizing the deployment process, working with the DevOps teams
  • Managing and coordinating effective software delivery
  • The Delivery Manager owns the project’s Delivery Model and is the Technical Leader on the Project
  • Performing and managing the deployment of interacting complex enterprise software and software dependencies
  • End-to-end responsibility on the Software Delivery part of projects to meet the schedule, cost, and quality commitments
  • Good knowledge of IT infrastructures (e.g. High-Performance Storage Systems, or IT Networks, or OS/VM environments)
  • Building effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity tracking to update Project Manager on progress
  • Share responsibility with the Project Manager (PM), through close coordination, for scope management (change requests assessment), risk management, and problem management
  • Trigger and validate engineering Gate Reviews (Solution, Factory Testing Readiness, Site Acceptance Readiness)
  • In collaboration with Maintenance & Support ensure a smooth transfer to maintenance of ending projects through coordinated knowledge transfer

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven 5 years of experience in Services)
  • Ideal subjects: Computer Science, IT Networking, Software Development
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Services – delivering Enterprise Software
  • 5 years of experience in software delivery organization, with operation (project delivery) background
  • Strong background in integration aspects related to computer systems
  • Experience of Kubernetes and microservice architecture
  • Industry knowledge in the field of operation and multi sites project organizations
  • Process and methodology oriented
  • Ability to remotely drive people towards a common goal
  • Highly collaborative and able to work across the organization to accomplish common goals
