About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deploying enterprise software
Working within a highly skilled team to manage and execute software deployment, software configuration, and operational testing
Identifying and quickly resolving software and related IT issues within a deployment project
Optimizing the deployment process, working with the DevOps teams
Managing and coordinating effective software delivery
The Delivery Manager owns the project’s Delivery Model and is the Technical Leader on the Project
Performing and managing the deployment of interacting complex enterprise software and software dependencies
End-to-end responsibility on the Software Delivery part of projects to meet the schedule, cost, and quality commitments
Good knowledge of IT infrastructures (e.g. High-Performance Storage Systems, or IT Networks, or OS/VM environments)
Building effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity tracking to update Project Manager on progress
Share responsibility with the Project Manager (PM), through close coordination, for scope management (change requests assessment), risk management, and problem management
Trigger and validate engineering Gate Reviews (Solution, Factory Testing Readiness, Site Acceptance Readiness)
In collaboration with Maintenance & Support ensure a smooth transfer to maintenance of ending projects through coordinated knowledge transfer

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven 5 years of experience in Services)
Ideal subjects: Computer Science, IT Networking, Software Development
Minimum 3 years of experience in Services – delivering Enterprise Software
5 years of experience in software delivery organization, with operation (project delivery) background
Strong background in integration aspects related to computer systems
Experience of Kubernetes and microservice architecture
Industry knowledge in the field of operation and multi sites project organizations
Process and methodology oriented
Ability to remotely drive people towards a common goal
Highly collaborative and able to work across the organization to accomplish common goals
