About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure a strong and efficient interface between Supplier Quality and Strategic Sourcing, Engineering and Quality Value Streams functions
Identify, deploy, and communicate the network of SQ contact points for each Configured Systems sub-commodity
Set up data-driven operating rhythm to review, challenge, and support qualification needs, gaps, roadblocks, and planning
Actively participate in Strategic Sourcing commodity reviews
Ensure Quality risks, qualification needs, budget constraints & expertise gaps are known and addressed for new product qualifications and/or new suppliers’ introduction
Align with Engineering Leaders in identifying and leading supplier development programs to continuously improve supplier performance and improve supplier base
Work closely with Strategic Sourcing Global Commodity Leaders to identify and assess new supplier opportunities
Support Quality Value Streams initiatives and proactively identify and execute process simplification ideas to improve quality and efficiency
Support Global Configured Systems SQ Leader to develop and drive qualification standard (to include improved NPI performance)
Train and deploy SQE resources to execute SDR and NCR resolution, coach critical RCAs/RCIs, support qualification and other SQ development activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Design or Quality Engineering from an accredited university or college
Work experience in quality, operations/supply chain or project management
Must be able to travel 25%
Fluent in English language
