About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop packaging, material transportation, material conveyance, & material handling process & equipment standards
  • Deploy global standards across the Aero Alliance factories, partnering with local factory technical leaders
  • Lead the transformation to move towards automated material transportation solutions including AGVs
  • Define, control, communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including: facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks & calibrations, preventative maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, technical & technology training
  • Validate engineering specifications and shop floor application of new processes
  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design and implement preventive and predictive programs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improving quality processes
  • Provide technical support for asset management, including equipment life cycle analysis and spare parts optimization
  • Train local factory manufacturing engineers to deepen their expertise in process and equipment
  • Participate in the design and installation of new equipment and implementation of processes, ensuring reliability is considered from the outset (Design for Reliability)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
  • 7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in Packaging, Material Transport, Material Handling
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Significant years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality for non-US candidates
  • Proven knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes for non-US candidates
  • Proven ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics for non-US candidates
  • Project Management skills and experience for non-US candidates
  • Fluency in English in writing and speaking
