About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop packaging, material transportation, material conveyance, & material handling process & equipment standards
Deploy global standards across the Aero Alliance factories, partnering with local factory technical leaders
Lead the transformation to move towards automated material transportation solutions including AGVs
Define, control, communicate global processes for manufacturing assets, including: facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks & calibrations, preventative maintenance plans, spare parts strategy, technical & technology training
Validate engineering specifications and shop floor application of new processes
Collaborate with maintenance, operations, engineering, and safety teams to design and implement preventive and predictive programs
Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime and improving quality processes
Provide technical support for asset management, including equipment life cycle analysis and spare parts optimization
Train local factory manufacturing engineers to deepen their expertise in process and equipment
Participate in the design and installation of new equipment and implementation of processes, ensuring reliability is considered from the outset (Design for Reliability)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality
5+ years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in Packaging, Material Transport, Material Handling
Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes
Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics
Project Management skills and experience
Significant years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality for non-US candidates
Proven knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes for non-US candidates
Proven ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics for non-US candidates
Project Management skills and experience for non-US candidates
Fluency in English in writing and speaking
