Key responsibilities & impact
  • Overseeing and coordinating activities within Steam Power Upgrade Services steam turbine and generator rotating equipment projects
  • Ensuring GE Vernova's contractual obligations are fulfilled
  • Developing and managing project budgets, providing ongoing cost estimates to completion
  • Planning and managing project schedules and payment milestones
  • Overseeing contractual scope, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders
  • Identifying and managing risks and opportunities
  • Delivering accurate monthly management reports for all assigned projects
  • Facilitating effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Attending training seminars, as required
  • Participating in external meetings with suppliers and customers
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers, peers, engineering teams, and global partners

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in related fields
  • Ability to travel 25% domestically and internationally
  • Minimum 5 years project management experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport
  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution (desired)
  • P. Eng. Certification and/or PMP/APM Certification (desired)
  • Experience with power generation systems (desired)
  • Practical knowledge of GE Vernova products is beneficial but not mandatory (desired)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project (desired)
