About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Convening with operations teams, reliability team, consulting field reports and operational data to identify extra work and support mitigation planning for possible emergent issues dealing with generator outages
Interface with cross functional teams, research previous outage reports and operational data to develop recommendations
Support of installed base including activities such as customer issue resolution, fleet issues, service bulletin implementation, Monitoring & Diagnostics, fleet configuration
Maintenance of fleet data, outage management
Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline
Serves as best practice/quality resource
Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility
Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering
Takes new perspective on existing solutions
Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college with 3 years of experience dealing with generator outages, design or repair (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience dealing with generator outages, design or repair)
Master's degree
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
