About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, understand and maintain the EHS project plan
  • Provide support to communicate and manage all sections of the plan
  • Responsible for safety administration, risk management, EHS training, medical and security related issues that may impact personnel or overall site safety
  • Investigate incidents or near miss events as necessary or required
  • Analyze root causes to determine safety measures to prevent future incidents and influence the implementation of corrective actions
  • Serve as direct liaison with end customer at site in safety task planning
  • Conduct site audits, equipment and PPE inspections
  • Mentor peers and crew in advanced EHS topics and train new Safety Specialists in current processes and procedures
  • Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health or qualification equivalent; Level B Occupational safety and health management personnel or 乙級職業安全衛生管理員
  • Minimum 3 year’s working experience in EPC on safety & health management capacity
  • Willingness to be based at Hsinta, Kaohsiung project site
  • Bilingual in both Chinese and English.
