Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic oversight of field operations in NAM region
Lead and coordinate field service operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality customer support
Oversee field operation managers, field engineers and technicians
Manage service schedules, supports customer satisfaction, and drive operational performance across HVDC, FACTS, ACIS and GIS technologies
Drive operational excellence, safety, quality, fostering a culture of accountability
Mentor team to deliver seamless, value-driven service that strengthens long-term customer relationships and business growth
Supervise the field operations group
Manage the field specialists and field engineers, their personal and skill developments
Maintain the field group at the expected level of productivity
Anticipate business development and develop staffing plans to support the growth
Ensure accurate resource loading and capacity planning to meet project demands
Maintain the field activity planning up to date
Filter requests and guarantee stability to the field group
Supervise 24/7 response; maintain rotation planning
Serve as the primary point of escalation and strategic partner for the client
Build and maintain executive-level relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction
Cross-Functional collaboration between Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams
Proactively promote EHS; maintain field people trained as per legal requirements
Guarantee appropriate PPEs are provided to the field specialist

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years of experience as team manager
Prior field operations experience in Services and operations
Strong preference for bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering
Work exposure to Transmission and Distribution substation engineering for utilities and renewable energy power plants
Field experience in electrical, mechanical, controls and protection disciplines
Fluent in English and French (desirable)
