About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute Lean initiatives across the GSC Repairs Value Stream Plants
  • Establish and execute a Lean Roadmap considering Hoshin Kanri strategic objectives
  • Secure SQDC priorities through the planning and execution of Kaizen events, MOR's reviews and Daily Management
  • Utilize consistent application of Lean Tools for each assigned site
  • Assist in revitalizing a common GSC Lean System
  • Use VSM to focus and drive improvement
  • Lead and mentor leaders by holding Transformation Events targeting sections of the processes or entire processes
  • Establish functional integration for lead time and inventory reductions within the Value Stream
  • Assist in maintaining a Lean Leader at each site
  • Responsible for the execution and action plan follow-up from the SGRA's on each Plant
  • Secure the Sustainable Productivity HK objectives
  • Responsible for planning and execution of Shingijutsu events
  • Lead and execute activities for CEO, Earth, S&Q Kaizen Weeks and Hoshin Week

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college (for roles in USA)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in deployment of Lean in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record of implementing significant improvement in lead time, cost, and inventory turns year-over year while securing Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading Lean deployment for multiple sites
  • Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
  • Established project management skills
  • Lean mindset
  • Demonstrated leadership experience at the Sr Management Level
  • Six Sigma Green / Black belt certification or equivalent certification
  • Strong change management skills
