About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute Lean initiatives across the GSC Repairs Value Stream Plants
Establish and execute a Lean Roadmap considering Hoshin Kanri strategic objectives
Secure SQDC priorities through the planning and execution of Kaizen events, MOR's reviews and Daily Management
Utilize consistent application of Lean Tools for each assigned site
Assist in revitalizing a common GSC Lean System
Use VSM to focus and drive improvement
Lead and mentor leaders by holding Transformation Events targeting sections of the processes or entire processes
Establish functional integration for lead time and inventory reductions within the Value Stream
Assist in maintaining a Lean Leader at each site
Responsible for the execution and action plan follow-up from the SGRA's on each Plant
Secure the Sustainable Productivity HK objectives
Responsible for planning and execution of Shingijutsu events
Lead and execute activities for CEO, Earth, S&Q Kaizen Weeks and Hoshin Week

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college (for roles in USA)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in deployment of Lean in a manufacturing environment
Proven track record of implementing significant improvement in lead time, cost, and inventory turns year-over year while securing Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets
Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading Lean deployment for multiple sites
Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time
Strong oral and written communication skills in English
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects
Established project management skills
Lean mindset
Demonstrated leadership experience at the Sr Management Level
Six Sigma Green / Black belt certification or equivalent certification
Strong change management skills
