About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop customer relationships, understand industry trends and growth opportunities for associated segments.
Define strategies for digital substations and centralized protection and control systems, the product/solution roadmap and business cases.
Drive technological differentiation and the roadmap, in coordination with the GA&S CTO organization.
Manage the lifecycle of products and solutions, in coordination with GA&S regions and the global supply chain.
Collaborate with GA&S regions to define marketing strategies, commercial growth, delivery and services.
Build an effective organizational structure and diverse teams. Develop talent and capabilities to support individual development, maximize commercial performance and create a culture of innovation and accountability.
Develop internal and external relationships to identify, lead or support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
Contribute to defining and executing GA&S long-term strategy, in coordination with the GA&S CTO organization.
Propose partnerships and acquisitions to support growth initiatives.
Lead strategic customer engagements, executive-level presentations and solution positioning for key tenders and framework agreements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications (e.g., IEC, IEEE, cybersecurity standards) and support regulatory qualification efforts.
Drive installed-base strategy, including upgrades, migration paths, retrofit/modernization solutions and service monetization.
Establish product governance mechanisms, including roadmap reviews, launch milestones, risk management and stakeholder alignment.
Coordinate with engineering and program teams to ensure deadlines are met, product launch quality and successful industrialization.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree from a recognized university or engineering school.
Experience in product management, business management and technology development.
In-depth knowledge of protection and control products and solutions for transmission and distribution (T&D).
Ability to take initiative, intellectual leadership, innovation and creativity.
Strong business acumen and technical sense. A keen interest in commercial development and business aspects is essential to succeed in this role.
Strategic thinker with a practical approach to problem-solving, willing to make decisions even in situations of uncertainty.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills.
Knowledge of the electricity transmission, distribution, industrial and automation market domains.
Demonstrated ability to lead global cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
Proven experience managing portfolios or platforms of complex products in a global industrial or energy environment.
Strong understanding of software solutions, digital platforms and modern system architectures.
Proven track record in generating growth and measurable commercial impact.
