About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Customer facing responsible for winning business in the Data Centre Market, ability to achieve timeliness of objectives
- Key Account Manager responsible for Data Centre segment driving business growth by managing key client accounts and developing new business opportunities across multiple states
- Develop and execute commercial strategy for sale of Grid Solutions Power Transmission business line products and services
- Collaborate with region leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions that address client challenges
- Own the accurate forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for customer(s)
- Develop and own with the support of the regional Directors, strategic customer relationships with key decision makers in support of sales teams account strategies
- Drive identification, prospecting and creation of new sales opportunities
- Help develop written strategies for pursuing opportunities at Data Centre strategic customer accounts
- Provide feedback regarding market trends, pricing and competition to product line marketing
- Perform periodic account reviews with management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge/experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
- Years of direct sales, channel sales, or account leadership experience
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- 3 years or more of proven successful sales experience in Data Centre industry, ideally with experience in Electrical equipment Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors and Instrument Transformers
- Experience developing and executing successful growth strategies
- Ability to interact & function cooperatively with multiple stakeholders and customers
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
