Senior Sales Manager – Data Centers
GE VernovaSales Manager driving business growth in Data Centre segment with GE Vernova's products. Focused on managing key client accounts and developing new opportunities.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Customer facing, responsible for winning business in the Data Centre Market.
- Achieve timeliness of objectives.
- Drive business growth by managing key client accounts and developing new business opportunities across multiple states.
- Develop and execute commercial strategy for sale of Grid Solutions Power Transmission business line products and services.
- Collaborate with region leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions that address client challenges.
- Own accurate forecasting of orders, convertible orders, margins, and sales for customer(s).
- Develop and own strategic customer relationships with key decision makers in support of sales teams account strategies.
- Drive identification, prospecting, and creation of new sales opportunities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge/experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in direct sales, channel sales, or account leadership.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- 3 years or more of proven successful sales experience in Data Centre industry preferred.
- Experience in Electrical equipment Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors and Instrument Transformers.
- Ability to interact & function cooperatively with multiple stakeholders and customers.
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Established project management skills.
