About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and oversee the full scope of site activities during the Inquiry to Order (ITO) and/or Order to Remittance (OTR) phases for construction, installation, and commissioning.
  • Act as the primary on-site leader, directly reporting to the Project Director.
  • Manage, lead, and develop the site team, including contractors and sub-contractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and cost parameters in compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Proactively monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including comprehensive progress reports, daily logs, safety documentation, and quality control checks.
  • Implement and rigorously enforce comprehensive safety programs and protocols to ensure a zero-incident culture and uphold the highest quality standards on site.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in site management or a similar leadership role
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, construction methods, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA 30) preferred.
  • Experience specifically within the Clinch River area or similar operational environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management preferred.
