About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Engineering function
  • Interfaces with other functions to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, and cross-functional initiative coordination
  • Manage cross-functional, technology-led, and product-focused programs, including schedule, budget, and tollgate processes for NPI, requisition, and sustaining initiatives
  • Oversee resource and budget allocation/integration while ensuring program outputs align with customer Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements
  • Serve as the primary interface for contractors, suppliers, customers, and internal departments to drive project alignment and delivery
  • Provide direct leadership, including hiring, staffing, and performance management
  • Leverage in-depth technical discipline and analytical thinking to execute strategy, proposing innovative solutions for complex manufacturing processes and interdependent production cycles
  • Act as a subject matter expert, guiding junior team members and leading small-scale, low-risk projects to successful completion
  • Synthesize data from multiple internal and external sources to drive informed decisions and achieve team consensus on complex topics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • 4+ years of experience in a related Engineering field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience within program management
  • OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • 4+ years of experience related to program management working alongside an engineering organization
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven track record of identifying and implementing effective, data-driven solutions
  • Full-cycle proficiency in documenting, planning, promoting, and executing complex programs
  • Experience in leading cross-functional projects from inception to completion
  • PMP certification or active pursuit of PMP-level training
