Lead Engineering Planner
GE VernovaLead Engineering Planner responsible for complex project schedules at GE Vernova. Engaging in all phases from proposal to execution to improve planning maturity and performance.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, release, and maintain complex, integrated engineering project schedules using Primavera P6
- Execute project schedules for assigned Gas Power Business scopes, ensuring schedule integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Convert proposal and tender schedules into fully integrated contract schedules.
- Prepare and manage Tender Time Schedules, Overall Time Schedules, Master Time Schedules, and portfolio-level schedules.
- Establish and maintain baseline schedules and control schedule changes through formal change logs.
- Partner with ITO and Proposal teams to define engineering support requirements and develop schedule assumptions.
- Monitor, update, and control project schedules based on engineering progress inputs.
- Prepare and release project dashboards, KPIs, progress reports, and management presentations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineering
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Engineering Planning, Project Planning, or Equipment Planning within complex industrial or EPC environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 scheduling and reporting.
