About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage engineering team, defining team strategy, set-up & Key Performance indicators
Keep high standards in project engineering, efficiency, and on time delivery as per EMH rules
Track and manage resource utilization in conjunction with Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure efficiency and ability to meet demand
Develop Substation Automation Services offerings to contribute to GA service and solutions growth
Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team across System Design, Integration and Testing
Define and execute a clear vision and operating model for the Digital Control System Engineering organization in alignment with the GA Engineering strategy
Drive a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Support bid and project execution phases by defining system-level concepts and integration strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Engineering degree from an accredited university or college
8 years in electricity and automation engineering, including distribution automation, substation digitization, diagnostics, APM, device management, and cybersecurity
3 years designing and programming electrical control systems, including SCADA/HMI, IEC 61850, firewalls, cybersecurity, and networking
5 years managing engineering teams
Fully fluent in English
Willingness to travel 30% in the US and Canada
