About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for on-time project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project-related activities and resources.
  • Assist Project Director in organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP.
  • Participate in customer, internal, and/or supplier project kickoff meetings.
  • Develop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring timely completion of project-related training activities.
  • Develop and issue the Project Management Plan and related project plans and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. export control and other requirements as applicable.
  • Monitor and control progress on project deliverables and ensure conformance with project requirements.
  • Organize and archive project correspondence and records consistent with Project Configuration Management Plan.
  • Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes and project progress reports.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR high school diploma/GED with 8 years of experience in project management, engineering, or business.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in project management, engineering, or business (if Bachelor's).
  • BWR Operations/Maintenance experience highly desired.
  • Training development or training program experience highly desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM is preferred.
  • Fundamental-level financial or accounting knowledge.
  • Experience or familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Sodium Fast Reactor (SFR) designs.
  • Knowledge of the power industry, customer, and competitive environment.
  • Demonstrated ability supporting project budget, schedule, and quality objectives.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Lean Six Sigma training and experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
