Key responsibilities & impact

Provide leadership, expertise, and support in the Validation and Verification processes pertaining to requirements management (RM), requirements traceability (RMT), configuration management (CM), change control principles, standards, and best practices through the design, licensing, construction, operation, and decommissioning life of a New Plant Project (NPP)
Lead the design process activities supporting GE's BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor (SMR)
Refine the requirements management hierarchy to capture technical flow-down from the Basis of Design and Safety Case Development while coordinating with engineering teams, customers, and external stakeholders to drive a successful licensing strategy on and other design deliverables
Communicate with engineering teams, customers, and third parties to develop and support a licensing strategy and compliance with design process, regulations, codes, and standards
Lead the planning and development for the integration of the Requirements Management and Configuration Management design processes across engineering disciplines to ensure a coordinated work effort
Responsible for defining plant-level design requirements for the systems, components, subcontractors, and partner teams
Manage interface between systems, components, and project/product management organizations
Use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations
