About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own Steampath bucket/blade component design in execution of NPI, ITR, and factory/field support activities for new units and aftermarket services
- Drive technology advancements from a Shaftline System, subsystem, component and material / life vantage points
- Collaborate with global & cross-functional team of internal Steam Turbine Engineers and external stakeholders
- Follow rigorous NPI Tollgate Process from Conceptual Design thru field validation for all bucket/blade component designs
- Lead and review appropriate engineering analysis to ensure robust designs that meet all required CTQs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 6+ years engineering experience in design turbomachinery rotating components
- Proficiency in English
- Experience in Steam Turbine rotating component design, including ST rotating and stationary bucket/blade designs
