About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and execute the regional contract management strategy in alignment with business objectives
Proactively identify and mitigate contractual, commercial, and legal risks across the project portfolio
Provide authoritative guidance on complex disputes, including multi-party claims, force majeure, and termination scenarios
Shape commercial positioning from tender stage through project close-out, ensuring flow down of terms towards suppliers, contractors and partners
Lead the identification, negotiation, and resolution of high-value offensive and defensive claims
Utilize advanced delay, disruption, and quantum assessment methodologies to build robust claim positions
Coordinate with Legal and project teams to manage formal dispute resolution (mediation, arbitration, litigation)
Mentor and develop the Regional Contract Management Team, fostering a high-performance culture
Define performance goals, manage staffing needs, and ensure workload optimization
Enforce rigorous application of standard work practices and quality procedures
Lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen) and capture "Lessons Learned" to drive commercial excellence.

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or Business Administration from an accredited University or college
Minimum of 15 years of experience in large, complex infrastructure projects (Energy, Power Transmission, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Construction)
Demonstrated success in managing the full lifecycle of complex claims and leading high-stakes negotiations
Extensive experience with international frameworks (FIDIC, NEC, EPC, or bespoke contracts)
Proven track record in regional or functional leadership, managing professional teams
Professional fluency in English (French would be a plus).
