Key responsibilities & impact

Demonstrate accountability for cost, schedule, quality, and technical accuracy of assigned tasks
Document requirements and ensure designs meet requirements
Develop / modify mechanical designs to hold electronic components while meeting all requirements for installations in Nuclear power plants
Confirm designs meet requirements through analysis and testing
Engage customers to define scope, review results, and discuss technical risks
Work with the technical leader to establish an effective work plan
Apply engineering fundamentals and 1st order engineering principles
Provide clear and complete analysis documentation
Manage time effectively to provide quality deliverables within the expected project timeline
Communicate effectively to leadership the status of work activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering from an accredited university or college
4 years industry experience in mechanical design
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and Canada
Instrumentation and Controls cabinet design experience with cable design and routing experience
Seismic analysis qualification experience
Familiarity with Nuclear standards and qualification methods
Boiling Water Reactor / Small Module Reactor design experience
Extensive familiarity with Inventor, SolidWorks, and / or AutoCAD
