About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own end-to-end project management for GE Vernova supply chain development projects
- Propose, manage, and deliver results on significant large-scale and inter-business projects and initiatives that align with business and stakeholder needs
- Provide operational oversight and insights into key supply chain related initiatives
- Develop new business cases to support business initiatives considering known challenges and changes in the sector
- Create, deploy, ensure enterprise project tollgate standard work and related methodologies are used for all supply chain development projects
- Establish goals and program direction to achieve SQDC, sustainability, and reliability results
- Provide project management leadership and direction to the commercial, product line, project, engineering and other interfacing functional organizations
- Ensure the appropriate individuals from the functional teams are included for each project or initiative and interact effectively to achieve business results
- Effectively communicate and influence partnership programs, interactions, and relationships
- Champion and integrate the GE Vernova Way and the Sustainability Framework into GEV Supply Chain Development standard practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or Business
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant Supply Chain, Lean, or Sourcing experience
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and working with and presenting to global stakeholders at senior level
- Willingness and ability to travel up to ~50% of the time, with occasional more intense travel depending on project circumstances and status
- Excellent communication (oral/written) experience, working and influencing cross-culturally in large, matrixed organizations
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills
- Strong quantitative and data analysis skills
