About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

support a global joint venture between GE and Baker Hughes
drive financial planning, reporting, income statement analysis, and close processes across the organization
serve as a key finance partner to product, program, and cross-functional leaders
provide financial leadership for the Engineering P&L
act as a central point of coordination for passthrough management among GE Aviation, GE Gas Power, and Baker Hughes
oversee base cost management and the cost allocation process
partner closely with cross-functional teams to support ISA/TSA agreements
manage Digital Technology investments
collaborate with the Capex Leader to oversee the special tooling process, including investment tracking, reporting, and amortization
support the Director of FP&A in coordinating key planning cycles
contribute to the preparation of financial materials for strategic reviews, Board of Directors meetings, closing calls, and leadership presentations
help enhance the efficiency and consistency of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of finance experience
Graduate of GE’s Financial Management Program (FMP) or a comparable finance leadership program (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting
Experience in financial reporting, consolidations, and close processes
Strong expertise with ERP and financial systems, including HFM and Oracle
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated project leadership and process management capabilities
Proven ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams
Ability to influence stakeholders, challenge existing processes, and drive continuous improvement
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Highly organized, self-motivated, and disciplined
