Key responsibilities & impact

make immediate contributions to the team responsible for Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) transient analyses
work within an energetic team environment to perform thermal-hydraulic and plant transient analyses
support a variety of applications, including BWR reload analysis and power uprate analyses
learn the fundamental bases of nuclear power plant operations and safety analysis
apply state-of-the-art thermal hydraulics methods to satisfy licensing requirements and solve plant problems
lead a variety of projects including technical evaluations and analyses in plant transients, thermal hydraulics, Heat Balances and thermal hydraulic fuel channel analyses

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar)
Eligibility for access to U.S. export-controlled information.
