About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- make immediate contributions to the team responsible for Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) transient analyses
- work within an energetic team environment to perform thermal-hydraulic and plant transient analyses
- support a variety of applications, including BWR reload analysis and power uprate analyses
- learn the fundamental bases of nuclear power plant operations and safety analysis
- apply state-of-the-art thermal hydraulics methods to satisfy licensing requirements and solve plant problems
- lead a variety of projects including technical evaluations and analyses in plant transients, thermal hydraulics, Heat Balances and thermal hydraulic fuel channel analyses
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar)
- Eligibility for access to U.S. export-controlled information.
