Key responsibilities & impact

Lead Aero-selected component qualification programs from initiation through successful and timely closure
Project manage and support all process steps before, during, and after qualification
Onboard new vendors and ensure effective communication is maintained
Drive accountability by coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers
Develop and maintain qualification project plans
Partner with Commodity Owners to define, secure, and manage budget
Lead cross-functional execution across various teams
Identify, assess, and drive mitigation of schedule, execution, and budget risks
Ensure continuous alignment with Commodity Owners and the Aero Capacity Program Manager
Provide timely communication of project status, key risks, and critical decisions
Prepare periodic and ad hoc management updates
Support make/buy and vendor-to-vendor strategy execution
Monitor supplier execution and quality performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/BA Degree (Technical or Business preferred)
Major experience in sourcing, sourcing quality or supply chain program management
Knowledge of Aero combustion and key components, vendors and supply chain
Working knowledge of Parts ERP Systems, including Business Intelligence tools (Data Warehouse, PowerSource)
Expert level of project tracking tools (MS Projects, etc)
Strong skills in MS Office Applications (including MS Access)
