  • act as a technical resource and subject matter expert within Steam Turbine Design & Integration, providing global guidance to project teams and stakeholders

  • review and approve engineering documentation and deliverables to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
  • serve as a single point authoritative technical contact in Steam Turbine engineering throughout the business including suppliers, sub-suppliers and field support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • major experience in Engineering/Technology & Services Engineering
  • Knowledge level comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • demonstrated expertise in subject matter area applying fundamentals of Mechanical Design, including: material properties, statics/dynamics, strength of materials, fluid dynamics, lifing methods related to fatigue (LCF & HCF), stress/strain, creep, heat transfer
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • at least 8 additional years of experience in an engineering capacity
