About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • This tender engineer role will be focusing initially deploying tenders tools across ITO (Inquiry to Order) organizations in the region and PDGs (Engineering, supply chain, proposal manager and construction).
  • The tender engineer to lead wing to wing tools adoption following processes.
  • The candidate will also ensure that the proposed solutions meet customer needs while adhering to industry standards, safety regulations, quality requirements and cost-efficiency objectives.
  • In this role, the candidate will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
  • Provide expert technical advice during the sales process to ensure solutions align with client needs and specifications.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in EHV/ HV Substation engineering.
  • Good understanding of power system components (transformers, switchgear, protection systems) and renewable energy integration.
  • Strong knowledge on contract and project management, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC), or Engineering equipment package (EEP) type.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical requirements and business needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients.
  • Flexibility to travel globally (~20%)
