About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide gas plant heat balance diagrams, functional specifications for main plant mechanical equipment, plant performance predictions and plant performance correction curves
Define system integration concepts to support the development of decarbonization solutions for both pre-combustion (hydrogen) and post-combustion (carbon capture) technologies
Provide technical expertise on plant performance & bottoming cycle design aspects
Collaborate with other multidisciplinary global engineering teams to ensure successful project execution
Identify and develop plant integration concepts to help drive towards a cleaner energy future

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrated knowledge in thermodynamics and plant equipment process design
advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Process Engineering
Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
Proven technical knowledge of combined cycle performance/optimization, thermodynamics and equipment process design
Strong technical understanding of Gas Turbine, Combined Cycle, Steam Turbine products
Experience in process integration and simulation tools (e.g. Ebsilon, Thermoflow, Gatecycle)
Good communication, interpersonal, & teaming skills
Strong analytical skills working independently and in a team
Understanding of process flow diagrams, plant operational concepts, water steam/operating cycle technology, performance guarantees, equipment sizing, is an advantage for the role
