About the role
- Provide gas plant heat balance diagrams, functional specifications for main plant mechanical equipment, plant performance predictions and plant performance correction curves
- Define system integration concepts to support the development of decarbonization solutions for both pre-combustion (hydrogen) and post-combustion (carbon capture) technologies
- Provide technical expertise on plant performance & bottoming cycle design aspects
- Collaborate with other multidisciplinary global engineering teams to ensure successful project execution
- Identify and develop plant integration concepts to help drive towards a cleaner energy future
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge in thermodynamics and plant equipment process design
- advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Process Engineering
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
- Proven technical knowledge of combined cycle performance/optimization, thermodynamics and equipment process design
- Strong technical understanding of Gas Turbine, Combined Cycle, Steam Turbine products
- Experience in process integration and simulation tools (e.g. Ebsilon, Thermoflow, Gatecycle)
- Good communication, interpersonal, & teaming skills
- Strong analytical skills working independently and in a team
- Understanding of process flow diagrams, plant operational concepts, water steam/operating cycle technology, performance guarantees, equipment sizing, is an advantage for the role
