About the role
- The Primary Lead Engineer is the technical guarantor of the proper performance of design works conducted in his/her field of activity, in matter of committed design budget (man days), deadline and Quality, in line with Customer expectation, while promoting ease of installation, operation and maintenance of the system.
- A Lead Primary Engineer has the capacity to manage design packages integrated in “Full set” projects according to PMH With an important customer in terms of secured and potential contracts or target market.
- The impact of the project will have a significant effect on the Business unit Operating within an (inter)national environment with many complex internal and suppliers’ interfaces.
- As a Substation Design Engineer, your main responsibility is to design and layout high-voltage (HV) substations, ensuring their reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaboration with other engineers and support for project documentation and continuous improvement initiatives are also key aspects of this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college from Mechanical / Electrical or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in the related activity/discipline in project & EPC type environment in T&D, STATCOM, Power Gen or Oil & Gas industry.
- Up to 20% travel within MEA & Europe along with other country/regions for short or medium period based on requirement.
- Strong oral and written communication in English.
