About the role

  • On-time project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources
  • Assist Project Director in organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP
  • Participate in customer, internal, and/or supplier project kickoff meetings and support the Project Director with preparation & coordination of customer, internal, and/or supplier kickoff meetings
  • Develop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring timely completion of project related training activities
  • Develop and issue the Project Management Plan and related project plans and project procedures; facilitate the implementation of project plans and project procedures across the larger project team
  • Support the development and deployment of project infrastructure and project tools
  • Ensure compliance with U. S. export control and other requirements as applicable
  • Support coordination of project activities; monitor and control progress on project deliverables
  • Ensure the conformance of project deliverables with contract and project requirements
  • Organize and archive project correspondence and records consistent with Project Configuration Management Plan
  • Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and project progress reports
  • Project administration and configuration management of project documentation to assist the Project Director
  • 10% travel

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 5 years' experience as a project manager OR a high school diploma/ GED with at least 10 years of experience working on projects
  • Proven professional experience in project management, engineering or business
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM
  • Nuclear power experience in operations or engineering
  • Proficient with project management software tools (Primavera, MS Project, etc.)
  • Fundamental-level financial or accounting knowledge
  • Experience or familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Sodium Fast Reactor (SFR) designs
  • Knowledge of the power industry, customer, and competitive environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
