About the role
- Design and continuously improve enterprise talent management standards, including Segment talent reviews, talent designations, succession planning, and executive development processes.
- Lead the design, continuous improvement, and activation of the Enterprise Leadership Framework, ensuring clear standards for what great leadership looks like at GE Vernova.
- Shape and govern enterprise executive development strategies and initiatives in partnership with Learning & Development.
- Embed the Leadership Framework across executive assessment, succession, development, onboarding, promotion, and performance expectations to drive consistent enterprise adoption.
- Own the senior leadership assessment strategy—philosophy, tools, vendor governance, standards, and decision criteria.
- Ensure assessments inform Board materials, succession decisions, readiness planning, and leadership investments.
- Set the enterprise strategy for senior leadership development across executive leaders, enterprise talent, and high‑potential senior leaders.
- Partner closely with Executive Talent Acquisition to align internal and external leadership pipelines to GE Vernova leadership standards.
- Define and leverage enterprise metrics and insights to inform leadership decisions, manage risk, and measure succession and development outcomes.
- Curate executive- and Board-level talent insights, materials, and recommendations for enterprise forums and governance discussions.
- Scan externally for innovative talent management practices and integrate relevant insights to continuously strengthen GE Vernova’s leadership system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in Talent Management, Executive Development, or senior HR leadership roles within large, complex, matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated talent management experience in an operating HR leadership role for P&L or business unit
- Demonstrated experience making strategic HR decisions, assessing leadership talent and effectively interfacing with high-level business and operations leaders
- Strong enterprise strategic thinking, program governance, and change leadership capabilities.
- Ability to operate with autonomy and sound judgment in a highly visible, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills including creation of project plans, milestone tracking, risk mitigation
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience handling highly sensitive, confidential, and Board-level talent information.
