About the role

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership on optimized layout & arrangement of Mechanical Plant Systems and Components within the Turbine Island (TI) and Balance of Plant (BOP)
  • Evaluate plant layout equipment & components for adequate accessibility for maintenance and inspection
  • Support potential new NPP customers with Power Block Plot Plan
  • Interface with Plant & System Design teams to establish design requirements into the Plant Layout & 3D BIM Model
  • Perform reviews of Plant & System Level design documents to ensure 3D Model implementation of design criteria & requirements
  • Plan, develop and drive technical initiatives and processes to populate the 3D Model

Requirements

  • Associate’s in engineering, designing or closely related field or 8+ years of experience designing and drafting in heavy industrial, thermal power, or nuclear industry or similar industries
  • 6 years of experience using design tools such as Autodesk (Inventor / AutoCAD / Vault) or equivalent CAD software
