About the role
- Lead a group of engineers to perform dose consequence, dispersion analyses, contained and airborne source term characterization
- Decay heat and radiation protection evaluations for ALARA design implementation
- Partner with business teams to provide work planning, scheduling, risks and technical support for customer deliverables
- Interface with internal and external customers, suppliers, partners, licensing, and regulatory authorities
- Support commercial and marketing opportunities to develop new business opportunities
- Work across engineering teams to ensure effective interdisciplinary design interfaces are established and maintained
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in engineering, physics, or closely related science discipline from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in nuclear engineering, or related field
- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information
- M.S. in Nuclear Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university (desired)
- Experience with BWR technology and sodium fast reactor technology (desired)
- Experience with ORIGEN, RADTRAD, GALE, MCNP, SCALE, MELCOR, MAAP, MACCS (desired)
- Strong personal commitment and determination (desired)
