About the role

  • Perform engineering design support within a team environment
  • Work with other disciplines, project/product stakeholders, partner organizations and suppliers
  • Develop and maintain models of nuclear plant design and operational capabilities
  • Analyze regulatory-driven requirements to develop risk-informed solutions
  • Provide insights and conclusions from analyses with clear communication to peers, management and customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • 1+ year of experience performing MAAP modeling or equivalent
  • 2 years cumulative experience in executing accident analysis, severe accidents, source term assessments and related analytical skills.
  • Proven problem analysis skills with demonstrated ability to clearly communicate results.
  • Detailed knowledge in Boiling Water Reactor operation and safety analysis.
  • Experience with international nuclear safety standards and practices.
  • Experience in operations, maintenance, or engineering at a BWR.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
