About the role
- Perform engineering design support within a team environment
- Work with other disciplines, project/product stakeholders, partner organizations and suppliers
- Develop and maintain models of nuclear plant design and operational capabilities
- Analyze regulatory-driven requirements to develop risk-informed solutions
- Provide insights and conclusions from analyses with clear communication to peers, management and customers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering from an accredited university or college
- 1+ year of experience performing MAAP modeling or equivalent
- 2 years cumulative experience in executing accident analysis, severe accidents, source term assessments and related analytical skills.
- Proven problem analysis skills with demonstrated ability to clearly communicate results.
- Detailed knowledge in Boiling Water Reactor operation and safety analysis.
- Experience with international nuclear safety standards and practices.
- Experience in operations, maintenance, or engineering at a BWR.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
