About the role
- Provide technical guidance and leadership
- Oversee project scheduling and resource planning
- Develop talent through mentorship
- Act as the point-of-contact between your engineering team and both internal and external customers
- Perform mechanical systems design and/or equipment procurement and construction activities
- Support the BWRX-300 certification processes for GE Products
- Conduct component and product integration
- Participate in all activities that span multiple components and systems
- Manage product and systems requirements, specifications, and flow down
- Drive validation and verification activities for the overall product/system
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or other relevant Engineering degree from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in an Engineering role
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical system design activities including development of process flow diagrams, thermodynamic and heat/fluid flow transfer calculations, engineering specifications, etc.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear plant modifications, new construction, and/or nuclear fabrication, preferably with BWRs
