About the role
- Formulates and executes proposal strategy and sales agreements
- Formulates deal structure, pricing, proposal development
- Assists in customer negotiations
- Identifies new opportunities with functional partners to develop new products and services for business growth
- Utilizes Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve proposal process
- This is a hybrid role only to be used when both sales origination and commercial proposal activities are ongoing duties of roughly equal importance
- Resolves issues using established procedures
- Collaborates with others to solve issues
- Develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE
- Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding
Requirements
- Developing conceptual knowledge of own discipline
- Developing knowledge of own sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups
- May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area
- Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience
